Memorial Update
As many of you know, Denny desired to be cremated...and to have his ashes scattered in one of his most beloved places...Kettle Creek. Well...Denny's wish was granted shortly before NOON on Saturday July 1st. Denny was a big coffee drinker...and with this in mind...and in what can only be described as the TRUE " DENNY SPIRIT " ...Denny's ashes were placed in coffee cans and coffee cups which were held by family members who were lined up across Leidy Bridge. Below...is the view of what everyone saw as they stood on the bridge and looked downstream to the waters that Denny knew and loved SO much.

Shortly before the scattering of ashes, it was mentioned that there might be some sort of law banning the scattering of ashes in this particular area.
This was certainly on everyone's mind as they were lined up on the bridge.

Did it matter ?

Well...once again...in what can only be described as being in the TRUE SPIRIT of DENNY...you could almost sense a message coming from Denny that said......

                                                    " Who gives a *#%@^! "......

..........and with that....Denny would get his wish...ON his Birthday !

Words were said... tears were shed...and on a BEAUTIFUL,BRIGHT,SUNNY morning on Kettle Creek...Denny was released to become a part of the landscape that meant so much to him.As Denny entered the water...he became free to spread his legacy throughout the water and to forever bond and blend with the soil and plant life along the banks. He BECAME a PERMANENT fixture of Kettle Creek and it's banks...and THIS is exactly what he wanted. We ALL THANK him for this...as we now know that we can be close to him every time that we visit or fish here in the future.
A blade of grass...a new tree sprouting...a fish that we may catch.........will have a part of Denny associated with it...and for this...we are grateful.
A little further downstream...THIS was Denny's favorite spot.Now...
he will forever be PART of it !

We now have a sort of "closure"...yet...we can come and be close to you whenever we want.

Thank you Denny...for allowing us to remember you in this way
